Abstract：There are various discrete invariants attached to good reductions of Spin Shimura varieties, e.g., the Ekedahl-Oort types, the Newton cocharacters, and p-ranks if we fix a symplectic embedding. We will recall basic facts about good reductions of Spin Shimura varieties, and then discuss behavior of EO types under embedding of smaller Spin groups, and describe p-ranks under the Kuga-Satake embedding. This is based on some joint computations with Qijun Yan.
